Two Women's Tennis Athletes Earn All-OAC Honors

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio- Two Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis student-athletes have been tabbed to the 2018 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Freshman Jayde Robinson (Cincinnati/School for Creative & Performing Arts) was named to the second team and junior Imani Robinson (Cincinnati/School for Creative & Performing Arts) received an honorable mention selection.

Jayde Robinson receives her first all-conference honor after a stellar first season in Berea. The freshman complied an 8-11 singles record, with a team-high and career-best six wins in the No. 1 spot. In doubles actions, she registered a 15-9 record, including a team-best and career-high 14 wins at No. 1.

Imani Robinson garners her second career All-OAC honor after a second-team selection during her freshman season. For the 2017-2018 campaign, the junior registered a 8-11 record in singles, including finishing second on the team with three wins at the No. 1 spot. In doubles action, she complied a 14-8 record, with 13 wins coming while playing at the No. 1 spot. For her career, the junior has complied 30 singles wins and is tied for 22nd in school history with 42 wins in doubles play.

BW finished the 2017-2018 season with an overall record of 11-10. With a 4-4 mark in conference play, the Jackets advanced to the OAC tournament quarterfinals.
