GAMBIER, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis dropped a 9-0 non-conference match to No. 18-regionally ranked Kenyon College in the Jasper Tennis Center.
BW (2-4) trailed Kenyon (2-2) 3-0 after doubles play. Senior Mackenzie Donalson (Hilliard/Davidson) and junior Claire Watts (Medina/Highland) had the closest match as they fell by a score of 8-5.
The Ladies swept all six singles matches. Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC player Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) had the closest match as she fell by scores of 6-3 and 7-6.
The Yellow Jackets are now idle until their annual spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. BW opens the trip with a pair of matches against Arcadia (Pa.) University and Bridgewater (Va.) College at the Hilton Head Tennis Center.
