WESTERVILLE, Ohio—The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team tied Otterbein University, 1-1, in a pivotal Ohio Athletic Conference contest Saturday evening inside of Memorial Stadium.

Otterbein (8-6-1, 4-2-1 OAC) scored the only goal in the first half in the 32nd minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Cardinals outshot BW (9-4-5, 3-1-3 OAC) eight to three in the first half.

In the second half junior forward Alex Elliott (Blacklick / IMG Academy) tied the game up, 1-1, when she headed in the ball off of a corner kick from senior defender Kadi Tucker (Mason). The goal was Elliott's sixth of the season and Tucker's third assist of the season.

At the end of regulation Otterbein outshot the Yellow Jackets 15 to 14, but neither team could break the, 1-1, tie so the game went into overtime.

After 20 minutes of extra time neither team converted on some opportunities and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

All-OAC and All-OAC Academic senior goalkeeper Emily Tallmadge (Fairview, Pa.) made six saves for BW.

The Yellow Jackets next game is on Tueday, October 27 when they host, OAC opponent, Ohio Northern University at 7 p.m. on Tressel Field inside of George Finnie Stadium.
