Women’s Soccer Falls at Carnegie Mellon (Pa.)
PITTSBURGH, Pa.—The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team was defeated by Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) University, 4-1, Tuesday night inside of Gesling Stadium.

In the first half, the number six-ranked team in the country, Carnegie Mellon (6-0-1) scored four goals and put nine shots on goal.

The Yellow Jackets (4-3-2) scored the only goal of the second half when All Ohio Athletic Conference junior defender Kelly Gough (Hudson) headed a ball past the Carnegie Mellon goalkeeper. Senior defender Kadi Tucker (Mason) was credited with the assist.
 
All Ohio Athletic Conference and All-OAC Academic senior goalkeeper Emily Tallmadge (Fairview, Pa.) made six saves for BW. 
 
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, September 26 when they travel to Defiance, Ohio to face off against Defiance University in the first game of a men's and women's soccer doubleheader on Winsper-Knobel Field at 1 p.m.
