BEREA, Ohio --  The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team tied Ohio Athletic Conference cross-town rival John Carroll University, 0-0, on Tuesday night on Tressel Field at The George Finnie Stadium

With its win, BW (9-6-2, 5-0-1 OAC) remains unbeaten and tied with Otterbein University for first place in the OAC. In the first half, neither team was able to find the back of the net.  It was a tough defensive effort by both BW and JCU (9-3-3, 3-1-2 OAC) that resulted in a scoreless first stanza.  The Yellow Jackets attempted nine shots near the net, including five shots on goal.

In the second half, both defenses held each other in check and kept the game scoreless at the end of regulation.  During regulation, BW outshot JCU, 20-5, including a 12-3 advantage in shots on goal.
