BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's soccer team placed three players on the 2011 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team, including two on the second-team. Junior midfielder Lindsey Cooper (Westerville/ New Albany) and sophomore defender Elizabeth Helser (Fort Wayne Ind./ Canterbury)  were selected to the second-team and sophomore midfielder Hanna Cavalier (Chippewa Lake/ Lodi Cloverleaf) was tabbed as honorable mention.

Cooper, who transferred to B-W from NCAA Division I High Point (N.C.) University in 2009, had her best season. She is earning her second straight All-OAC accolade and was selected as honorable mention a year ago.   This season, Cooper finished second on the team in scoring with 14 points on career and team-best six goals and two assists.  She was first on the team with three game-winning goals, shots with 51 and shots on-goal with 21.

Helser once again anchored a defense that recorded seven shutouts and allowed just 1.23 goals per game for the 11-9 overall Yellow Jackets.  She has been a two-year starter and letterwinner and is earning her second consecutive second-team All-OAC honor.  In addition, Helser had her best offensive season as she recorded a career-best two goals and one assist for five points.

Cavalier had her best season as a collegian and is earning her first All-OAC accolade.  This season, she tallied four goals and four assists to finish third on the team with 12 points. She tallied her first career goal and assist in a 3-2 season-opening win at Penn State-Behrend on September 4.
