Jamie Gibbs enters his 14th season as the head coach wrestling coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2024-25.

  • First full-time wrestling coach in program history, replaced BW Alumni Athletics Hall of Famer Rich Fleming after 23 seasons
  • Ranked nationally in top-10 last seven seasons
  • Eight Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, including four straight from 2015-19 and 2021-24
  • Gibbs and his satff have been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Coachins of the Year Award on eight occasions
  • 2024 NCAA Division III Central Region Championships Coach of the Year
  • 2023 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Men's Wrestling National Tournament Coach of the Year
    • Staff was named the 2023 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Men's Wrestling National Tournament Assistant Coaches of the Year

  • OAC Dual Match Record of 63-14

Gibbs Accomplishments

  • Coached 68 All-OAC selections and 24 All-Americans, including three national champions
  • Mentored 72 Academic All-OAC, 56 NWCA Scholar All-Americans and two Academic All-Americans

  • National qualifier and a National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American at Iowa Central Community College
