No. 11 Wrestling Takes the Title at the North Central (Ill.) Invitational

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The No. 11 nationally-ranked Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team claimed the title at the North Central (Ill.) College Invitational inside Residence Hall.

BW was first of 15 teams with 166.0 points. The Yellow Jackets had 11 athletes in the top five, including four individual champions and two second-place finishers. 

Junior and No. 2 nationally-ranked 125-pounder Jacob Decatur (Akron/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) – Champion

BW returns to the mats on Saturday, December 18th when it travels to Sandusky, Ohio to compete in the Kalahari Duels hosted by Heidelberg University. The Yellow Jackets will take on Defiance College, Trine (Ind.) University, Adrian (Mich.) College and No. 11 nationally-ranked Wisconsin-Oshkosh with the action beginning at 10:00 a.m. Also on December 18th, BW travels to Olivet, Michigan for a pair of matches against Olivet (Mich.) College at 4:00 p.m. and Division I Michigan State University at 5:30 p.m.
