BEREA, Ohio – Olivia Lash has been named as an assistant coach for the Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team.

Lash comes to BW from Ursuline College where she was an assistant coach for the Arrows. During her only season there, she helped lead the team to an appearance in the 2016 Great Midwest Athletic Conference championship game. She also worked with Ohio Premier Lacrosse where she was an assistant coach to a 2019 high school premier team.

Prior to coaching at Ursuline, Lash graduated from Wittenberg University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in communication where she was a member of the Tigers women's lacrosse team. After only three seasons on the team, she finished ranked fifth in career goals (144) and eighth in career points (173). Senior year accolades include being named team captain, a first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection, a first-team Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III All-Great Lakes Region selection and being named NCAC Player of the Week on May 2 as well as to the NCAC All-Tournament team.

Before transferring to Wittenberg in August of 2013, Lash played for the Division I lacrosse program at San Diego State University where she competed in seven games and scored four goals.

Lash, a native of Cleveland Heights, is a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and played girls lacrosse under longtime coach Terry Saylor. She was named as a Great Lakes North Coast National Team Member in 2010 and earned first-team All-Ohio, first team All-District and honorable mention All-America honors as a senior in 2011.
