BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Tia Esbenshade completed her first season of lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014 and earned her first varsity letter.
GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-13, Tia completed her first season of lacrosse and earned her first varsity letter. She was one of only seven players to appear in all 10 games, making nine starts, for the 4-6 Yellow Jackets during their inaugural season. Tia scored three goals and registered two assists for five points, ranked fourth on the team with 29 ground balls, collected six draw controls, and caused seven turnovers. She scored her first career goal in a 12-6 win at Wilmington College on March 10 and registered her first career assist the following game, a 19-3 loss at Alma (Mich.) College on March 15. Tia collected a career-high seven ground balls in a 10-4 win against Franciscan University on April 6, and caused a career-high three turnovers in a 15-2 loss to Alma on April 7.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Tia will look to earn her second varsity letter.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Tia Esbenshade grew up in Wooster, Ohio and graduated from Wooster High School.
HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Tia participated in four seasons of cheerleading and earned two varsity letters, and played four seasons of lacrosse and earned three varsity letters.
As a senior in 2011-12, Tia served as captain of her lacrosse team.
