Brandon Slater '14 is in his first season as the head women's golf coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2023-24

Slater, who is a PGA Associate Professional, returned to Berea after serving as the head girls golf coach at Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado for one season.  He also is a private golf instructor and worked as a service member at the Broken Tee Golf Course.

Slater earned a Bachelor of Arts in broadcasting and mass communication and philosophy.  While at BW, he was two-year letter winning defensive lineman.  He appeared in 14 varsity games and recorded 15 tackles, including two for a loss.  Off the field, Slater was a play-by-player announcer for WBWC 88.3 FM.

He and his wife Tonya reside in Hinckley.
