ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed fourth at the Mount Union Fall Invitational at Tannehauf Golf Club.
BW finsihed fourth out of nine teams with a total of 356 strokes on the par 72 and 6,008 Tannehuaf layout. Notre Dame College took first place with 337 strokes.
The top five leading BW:
- Sophomore Lauren Neher (Norwalk / Edison) tied seventh with a round of 85
- Sophomore Halle Kalaman (Tallmadge / Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) tied 12th with a round of 87
- Sophomore Brooke Newsome (Clyde) tied 21st with a round of 91.
- Freshman Alana Smith (Fremont / Ross) placed 25th with a round of 93
- Sophomore Steph Neff (Seven Hills / Padua Franciscan) tied 38th with a round of 102
Playing as individuals:
- Sophomore Lexy Kovach (Strongsville / Magnificat) tied 42nd with a round of 106
- Junior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) placed 51th with a round of 118
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday and Saturday, September 16-17 when they travel to Tiffin to compete in the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at the Mohawk Golf & Country Club.
