Women's Golf Celebrates Three Senior Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and women's golf program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes Mary Fraley (Cleveland/Mayfield), Kelly Linnabary (Westerville / Central), and Leah Metzger (Ashland) on completing their outstanding athletic careers at the University.

The University administration, faculty and staff congratulates these three young women on their outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as their leadership to the women's golf program. The University would like to wish each of them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that they come back and visit us often. They will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

 

Fraley is a film studies major from Cleveland, Ohio and a graduate of Mayfield High School. She earned her second varsity letter this past season. In her career, Fraley has played in 18 invitationals and 24 rounds. She has a career stroke average of 127.04. She shot a career-low round of 118 at the John Carroll Spring Shootout on April 6, 2019. Fraley is the daughter of Michelle Fraley of Cleveland.

 

 

 

 

Linnabary is a studio art major from Westerville, Ohio and a graduate of Central High School. She will earn her third varsity letter this spring.  In her career, Linnabary has played in 32 invitationals and 52 rounds. She has a career stroke average of 91.29. She shot a career-low round of 80 at the John Carroll Spring Shootout on April 6, 2019. She tied for 20th at Ohio Athletic Conference Championships this past spring. She was a medalist at the John Carroll Spring Invitational on April 19. 2021. Linnabary is the daughter of Bruce and Karla Linnabary of Westerville. 

 

 

 

 

Metzger is a biology major from Ashland, Ohio and a graduate of Ashland High School. She will earn her third varsity letter this spring.  In her career, Metzger has played in 32 invitationals and 52 rounds. She has a career stroke average of 92.37. She shot a career-low round of 80 at the John Carroll Spring Shootout on April 6, 2019. She tied for 20th at Ohio Athletic Conference Championships this past spring. She was a medalist at the John Carroll Spring Invitational on April 19. 2021. Metzger is the daughter of Mitchell and Lynn Metzger of Ashland.
