Women’s Golf Places Fifth at Raider Fall Invitational

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed fifth at the Raider Fall Invitational hosted by the University of Mount Union at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.

BW was fifth of six teams with a total of 374on the par-72 and 6,008-yard Tannenhauf layout.  The University of Mount Union was the team champion with 328 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets were led by junior Grace Magee (Skaneateles, N.Y.) as she fired a round of 89 to tie for 17th.  Junior Erinn Maynard (New London) and sophomore Emily Hunt (Marysville) each carded a round of 94.  freshmen Rachel Lyons (Gray, Ga./Jones County) posted a career-best tying score of 97.  Rounding out the top five was sophomore Hannah Durst (Madison) with a round of 106. 

Playing as individuals were, graduate student Nikki Gannon (North Ridgeville), freshman Rachael Sladky (North Olmsted), freshman Aubrey Baumler (Huron) and freshman Danielle Randle (Chicago, Ill./Lindblom Math & Science Academy).   Sladky led the group with a career-best round of 92.  Gannon had a round of 102.  Baumler tallied a career-best 104 and Randle shot a career-best 113.

BW is back in action on Sunday and Monday, September 17 and 18 when it travels to Hudson to compete in the John Carroll University Fall Invitational at the Country Club of Hudson.
