BEREA, Ohio –Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's golfer Laura Vidmar (Willoughby/South) has been selected as the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week.
Vidmar, who garners her first career OAC weekly honor, carded a career-low 79 and was the individual medalist at the 2015 Ohio Northern University Spring Equinox Classic at the Colonial Golfers Club.
She had the low score of 48 total players on the par-72 and 6,173-yard Colonial Golfers Club layout. BW finished sixth as a team. In addition, she is an outstanding student, who carries 3.782 grade point average in early childhood education.
The women's golf team is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12 when it travels to Ostrander to compete in the Laura Bump Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University at the Mill Creek Golf Club.
