BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Laura Vidmar played her third season of golf at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC student-athlete earned her third varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS:   Laura carries a 3.782 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar. She also is a member of the Cgi Sigma Alpha and Kappa Delta Pi honor societies.

ACADEMIC ALL-OAC:  As a sophomore in 2013-2014 and junior in 2014-2015, she earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.

ATHLETICS HONORS:  As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Laura earned second-team All-OAC honors.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Laura earned second-team All-OAC honors. She was the medalist at the Ohio Northern University Spring Equinox Tournament on March 28, 2015. She was named as the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week on March 30, 2015.

GENERAL GOLF INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Laura played her first season of golf and earned her first varsity letter.  In the fall of 2012, Laura played in five tournaments, competed in ten rounds and averaged 93.90 strokes per round.  In the spring of 2013, Laura played in five tournaments and 7.5 rounds and averaged 93.20 stroke per round. She shot a season-low 84 at the George Fox (Ore.) University Spring Break Invitational Tournament at the Westbrook Village Country Club in Peoria, Arizona.  BW did not compete in the OAC Tournament.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Laura played in her second season of golf and earned her second letter. In the Fall of 2013, Laura played in four tournaments and eight rounds and averaged 93.0 strokes per round. She had her best-round of 85 during the Olivet (Mich.) College Tournament. In the spring, Laura competed in all six tournements and 12 rounds and averaged a career-low 91.58 stroke per round, including shooting a season-low 83 at the George Fox (Ore.) University Spring Break Invitational Tournament at the Westbrook Village Country Club in Peoria, Arizona. Individually, Laura earned second-team All-OAC and Academic All-OAC honors. BW won the 2014 OAC title and placed 21st at the NCAA Division III National Tournament. 

As a junior in 2014-2015, Laura played her third year of golf and earned her third letter. She earned second-team All-OAC honors and placed 13th at the OAC Tournament (Top-14 are All-OAC).  Laura had a then career-low 82 at the University of Mount Union Tournament and tied for second individually (of 33 total golfers). During the spring of 2015, Laura was the medalist at the Ohio Northern Spring Equinox Classic when she shot a career-low 79 as placed first of 48 golfers at the Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod. She was named as the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week on March 30, 2015. For the season, Laura played in seven total tournament and 10 rounds and led BW with an 88.3 stroke average. BW was fifth of eight teams at the OAC Tournament.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Laura Vidmar grew up in Willoughby, Ohio and graduated from Willoughby South High School.

Laura played four years of basketball and golf and she earned three varsity letters in basketball and two in golf, respectively. She also ran one season of track and played one season of softball in which she each a varsity letter in each sport.

In golf as a junior, Laura was named as a second-team All-Conference performer as well as an honorable mention All-Northeast District selection. As a senior, Laura was named as a first-team All-PAC performer as well as an honorable mention All-Northeast District pick and a first-team NEOGCCA performer. Also during her senior year, she was named as a Lake County News-Herald Player of the Week.

In basketball as a senior, Laura was tabbed a first-team All-Conference selection.
