Two Women’s Basketball Players Land on All-OAC Team

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Two Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball student-athletes have been named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Junior guard/forward Hannah Fecht (Hilliard/Davidson) was a first team selection while sophomore guard Riley Schill (Sheffield Lake/Elyria Catholic) was tabbed as an honorable mention.

An honorable mention last year, Fecht earns her second All-OAC honor after a standout junior season where she led the team with 11.4 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per contest. She also led the team in field goals made with 99 and three point field goals with 65. Fecht's .451 three-point percentage was second best on the team and third best in the OAC. She also dished out a career-high 49 assists, had a career-high 27 steals and blocked a career-high 15 shots. For her career, Fecht has scored 720 points, grabbed 352 rebounds, made 161 three-pointers, dished out 112 assists, made 68 steals and blocked 36 shots.

Schill, who garners her first All-OAC accolade, also had a career year as she averaged 10.2 points per game, which was second best on the team, and grabbed a career-high 3.1 rebounds per contest. She led the team and was third in the OAC in assists with 99 and had a team-leading 30 steals. She also made a team-high 92 free throws for an .807 free-throw percentage, second best on the team. For her career, Schill has scored 415 points, grabbed 120 rebounds, made 121 free throws, dished out 139 assists, made 51 steals and blocked seven shots. Off the court, she is a Dean's List student and a member of the honors program.

BW finished the 2017-18 season with a 15-11 record, advancing to the OAC Tournament for the fifth straight season.
