SOFTBALL INFORMATION:  Taylor Kinsey is playing in her third season of softball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015. She will look to earn her first varsity letter.  She transferred to BW in the spring of 2013 from Bowling Green State University.

As a freshman in 2013, Taylor appeared in two games. She had a batting average of .500 (1 hit in 2 at-bats) with one RBI. Taylor had a slugging percentage of .500. Taylor earned a Certificate of Participation.

As a sophomore in 2014, Taylor played her second season of softball and received a certificate of participation for her efforts. BW finished 18-19 overall.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:    Taylor Kinsey grew up in Jeromesville, Ohio and attended Ashland High School. She competed for years in softball and earned three varsity letters. Taylor also was a member of the Cheerleaders and the Competitive Cheerleading team. She served as a cheerleader in football as a sophomore and junior and earned two letters. She was a member of the Competitive Cheerleading team for four years and earned four letters.

In softball as a senior, Taylor was first-team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference, second-team All-District and played in both the Ashland Times-Gazette and Wooster Daily-Record All-Star games. She additionally won the Ashland H.S. "Big Stick" award, had the best batting average on the team and set a school record for hits in a single season. As a junior, she earned second-team All-OCC and second-team All-District accolades.

Academically, Taylor was a four-year Academic Scholar and a four-year Scholar-Athlete award winner.
