ADA, OHIO -- The third-seed Baldwin-Wallace University softball team defeated top-seeded Ohio Northern University, 2-1 in nine innings, today (Saturday, May 7) in the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Game at the ONU Softball Field in Ada to capture the 2011 OAC title. The Yellow Jackets won the game and their first-ever OAC softball crown when freshman shortstop Lauren Feciuch (Kent/ Field) hit a walkoff homerun with two outs in the ninth.

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College softball team swept an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader over Muskingum University today (Saturday, April 30, 2011) at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds Field in Berea on Seniors' Day. The Yellow Jackets won the first game, 4-1, and captured the nightcap, 7-6, with a comeback victory with six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a 6-1 deficit. With its wins, B-W has qualified for next weekend's OAC Tournament for the first time since 2004.

B-W defeated Wittenberg by a final score of 10-1 in five innings and came back to defeat Waynesburg, 2-1, in a tough seven inning battle. The Yellow Jackets will play six more games in three days.
