B-W Beats ONU in OAC Softball Championship Game, 2-1, in Nine Innings on Feciuch Homerun
May 07, 2011ADA, OHIO -- The third-seed Baldwin-Wallace University softball team defeated top-seeded Ohio Northern University, 2-1 in nine innings, today (Saturday, May 7) in the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Game at the ONU Softball Field in Ada to capture the 2011 OAC title. The Yellow Jackets won the game and their first-ever OAC softball crown when freshman shortstop Lauren Feciuch (Kent/ Field) hit a walkoff homerun with two outs in the ninth. -
Baldwin-Wallace Softball Team Defeats Mount Union in Eight Innings; Advances to OAC Championship
May 06, 2011ADA, OHIO -- The third-seed Baldwin-Wallace College softball team defeated the fourth-seed University of Mount Union today (Friday, May 6) in the third game of the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Softball Tournament by a final score of 6-5 in eight innings at the Ohio Northern University Softball Field. The extra inning affair was the first time this season that B-W needed extra innings.

May 06, 2011ADA, OHIO -- The third-seed Baldwin-Wallace College softball team shut out the second-seed John Carroll University today (Friday, May 6) in the opening game of the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Softball Tournament by a final score of 3-0 at the Ohio Northern University Softball Field. In the other first round game, the top-seed Ohio Northern University will face the fourth-seed University of Mount Union at 1:00 p.m.

B-W Softball Team Sweeps OAC Twinbill in Berea on Seniors' Day; Qualifies for OAC Tourney
April 30, 2011BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College softball team swept an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader over Muskingum University today (Saturday, April 30, 2011) at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds Field in Berea on Seniors' Day. The Yellow Jackets won the first game, 4-1, and captured the nightcap, 7-6, with a comeback victory with six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a 6-1 deficit. With its wins, B-W has qualified for next weekend's OAC Tournament for the first time since 2004.

April 29, 2011WESTERVILLE, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace college softball team split an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader today (Friday, April 29, 2011) at Otterbein University in Westerville to clinch a spot in next weekend's OAC Tournament. Otterbein won the first game, 6-4, and BW captured the nightcap, 8-1. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 27 but was postponed due to rain.

March 07, 2011KISSIMMEE, FLA. -- The Baldwin-Wallace College softball team remained undefeated by posting two victories today (Monday, March 7) over Wittenberg University and Waynesburg (Pa.) University on day two of the annual Rebel Spring Games at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex. B-W defeated Wittenberg by a final score of 10-1 in five innings and came back to defeat Waynesburg, 2-1, in a tough seven inning battle. The Yellow Jackets will play six more games in three days.
