BW Men Finish Ninth at OWU Meet

POWELL, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team finished seventh and the Yellow Jacket men placed ninth at the annual Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational Meet at Liberty Park. 

The men were led by transfer Brian Brennan (Akron/ Walsh Jesuit) who placed 12th individually of 117 total runners and covered the 8K course in 26:54.7. Brennan was followed by freshman Brady Jeffers (South Amherst/ Firelands) in 25th place in 27:44.5, freshman Evan Milovich (Westlake) in 46th in 28:54.7, freshman Justin Swords (Brunswick) in 53rd in 29:25.3, junior Alex Fuhrmann (Painesville/ Riverside) in 81st in 30:51.6, freshman Dylan Tanner (Mentor) in 91st in 31:43.5, junior Jason Young (Parma/ Normandy) in 103rd in 32:23.5, sophomore Tate Stoll (Norwalk/ Western Reserve) in 108th in 33:00.3 and sophomore Seth Duncan (North Olmsted) in 110th in 33:21.1.

 

The BW men and women are back in action next Saturday, Sept. 13 when they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan and will run at the Calvin College Knight Invitational Meet at 10:00 a.m.
