Men's Indoor Track and Field Finish Fourth at the Ed Finnegan Greater Cleveland Colleges Invitational

Cleveland - The Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field finished fourth at the Ed Finnegan Greater Cleveland Colleges Invitational, hosted by Case Western Reserve in Veale Center Fieldhouse.

 The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

  • Sophomore Desmond Manley (Akron / St. Vincent-St. Mary) placed third in 200m with a time of 23.45 seconds and fifth in the 400m in a time of 53.10.
  • Freshmen Connor Foody (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Allegheny) placed third in the one-mile with a time of 4:32.32.
  • Sophomore Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg / Benedictine) placed third in the 1000m with a tie of 2:42.35.
  • Sophomore Jackson Tucker (Akron / Lake Center Christian School) placed sixth in the 800m in a time of 2:10.22.
  • Sophomore Matt Perry (Mentor) finished sixth in the 5000m in a time of 17:19.87.

Field events highlighted:

  • Sophomore John Haberman (Hamburg, N.Y. / Hamburg) placed fifth in weight throw with a distance of 14.11m.
  • Freshmen Mason Kiesel (New London / South Central) placed second in shot put with a distance of 13.37m.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action when it competes at the two-day Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Championships on Saturday, February 25-26, hosted by Mount Union inside the Peterson Fieldhouse.
