NEW ORLEANS – Three members of the Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field team earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Great Lakes Region honors with four selections in all.

Junior All-American sprinter Jordan Leverette (Cleveland/John Adams) earned his third consecutive Indoor USTFCCCA All-Great Lakes Region honors in the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes. Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Zak Dysert (McDonald, Pa./Fort Cherry) was named an Indoor All-Great Lakes Region selection in the weight throw for the second time in his career while sophomore All-OAC thrower Ted Achladis (Avon Lake/Elyria Catholic) garnered his first Indoor All-Great Lakes Region accolade in the shot put.

Leverette broke two school records and an OAC Championship Meet record during the indoor season. He ran a season-best, career-best and school-record 60-meter dash time of 6.84 seconds at the 2018 Division III All-Ohio Indoor Championships. At the 2018 OAC Indoor Championships, he ran a time of 21.86 seconds in the 200-meter dash preliminaries to break the school record he had previously set just a few weeks earlier. Leverette also holds school records in the 400-meter dash and as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team.

Dysert had a career indoor season as he won the weight throw event at five separate meets, including the 2018 OAC Indoor Championship Meet. At the OACs, he broke the 60 foot barrier by tossing 60'2", a mark that earned him a spot at the 2018 NCAA Division III National Championships. Dysert also earned his first career OAC Field Athlete of the Week honor after winning the weight throw at the Hillsdale "Wide Track" Classic.

Achladis follows up his first All-OAC honor with his first Indoor USTFCCCA All-Great Lakes Region honor. He placed third in the shot put at the 2018 OAC Indoor Championship meet with a career-best mark of 52'5.25". Achladis also had a season-best and career-best toss of 50'11" in the weight throw at the Raider Tune Up.

Dysert will continue his season by competing in the weight throw at the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama, on March 9.
