Beidleman OAC Co-Sprinter of Year; Team Finishes Sixth
ALLIANCE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American and CAPITAL ONE Academic All-America sprinter Ben Beidleman (Washington, D.C./ Saint Anselm's Abbey) was named as the Co-Most Valuable Sprinter at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship Meet, hosted by the University of Mount Union at Mount Union Stadium. The Yellow Jacket men placed sixth.

Beidleman won the 200-meter dash in a season-best time of 21.80 seconds, was a member of the second place 4x100-meter relay team in 42.09 seconds and placed fourth in the 100 meters in a season-best of 10.97 seconds. She shared the OAC Sprinter of the Year award with Mount Union's Tyler Sparks.

In addition to Beidleman, senior All-American Brandon Eddy (Cuyahoga Heights) and junior multiple NCAA Div. III national qualifier Tyler Burdorff (Painesville/ Riverside) also were key.  Eddy placed second in the high jump with a season-best jump of 6'6.75", tied for second in the pole vault with a season-best vault of 15'5" and tied for fourth in the long jump with a career-best leap of 21'10". Burdorff was second in the shot put with a throw of 48'7.5".

Also earning All-OAC honors with Ben Beidleman as members of the 4x100-meter relay team were sophomore Troy Robinson (Akron/ Garfield), junior and brother Michael Beidleman (Washington, D.C./ Saint Anselm's Abbey) and senior Isaac Baker (Lithia, Fla./ Newsome).

BW is back in action next Friday and Saturday, May 1-2 when select Yellow Jacket competitors travel to Columbus to compete at the annual Jesse Owens Invitational Meet at The Ohio State University on the Jesse Owens Track.
