BEREA, Ohio -- Six members of the Baldwin Wallace University men's track and field team have qualified for the 2015 NCAA Division III National Track & Field Championships hosted by St. Lawrence University on Thursday, May 21 through Saturday, May 23 in Canton, New York.
The six men are senior All-American decathlete/pole vaulter Brandon Eddy (Cuyahoga Heights), junior hammer thrower Tyler Burdorff (Painesville/Riverside) and the 4x100-meter relay team of senior Isaac Baker (Lithia, Fla./Newsome), junior All-American and CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American Ben Beidleman (Washington, D.C./Saint Anselm's Academy), junior Michael Beidleman (Washington, D.C./ Saint Anselm's Academy) and sophomore Troy Robinson (Akron/ Garfield).
Burdorff is qualified in the hammer (ninth/ 192'11") and ranked in the Top-40 in both the shot put and hammer. Eddy is qualified in the pole vault (tied for 11th/ 16'0.75") and was ranked in the Top-40 in the high jump. The 4x100 relay team ran a season-best 41.23 seconds last Saturday, May 16 at North Central (Ill.) College to rank 10th.
