BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference men's tennis standout Doug Ganim (Westerville/Olentangy Orange) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Division III Academic All-America At-Large third-team.

The selection of Ganim as CoSIDA Academic All-American now gives Baldwin Wallace 100 all-time selection and is the most of any Ohio Athletic Conference or NCAA Division III school in the state of Ohio and is tied for 12th nationally among Division III colleges and universities. Ganim advanced to the national ballot after he was selected as first-team CoSIDA Division III Academic All-District 7. 

Ganim is one of the best to ever step on the "Pop" Collins Tennis Courts at BW.  He was a three-time All-OAC, three-time Academic All-OAC and three-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)) Scholar-Athlete honoree. Ganim ended his career sixth all-time in school history in singles wins with 86 and an 86-20 record for an .811 winning percentage. He combined with fellow graduate Peter Harris  as the duo rank third all-time with 89 doubles wins and an 89-26 mark for a .774 winning percentage. Ganim's 175 career combination wins and 175-46 and .792 winning percentage ranks fifth all-time. During his four seasons in the Brown & Gold, BW had an 81-16 record with an .831 winning percentage.

This season, Ganim played No.2 singles and No.1 doubles and had a 25-5 singles mark and combined with Harris for a 24-8 doubl;es slate. He helped to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 24-5 overall and 7-1 OAC record and advance to the OAC Championship match.

Academically, Ganim graduated Cum Laude with a finance degree and carried a 3.78 grade point average. He was a Dean's List student and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma and Dayton C. Miller honoraries.
