ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Education

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Bryan Gerber is competing in his fourth season of men's swimming and diving at Baldwin Wallace University. The school record-holder in the 200-yard breaststroke hopes to earn his fourth varsity letter. 

ATHLETIC HONORS:   As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Bryan earned Ohio Athletic Conference Male Swimmer of the Week honors on January 28, 2013 for his efforts in a dual meet victory at home against John Carroll University on Jan. 26.

RECORD-HOLDER:   Bryan is the BW school-record holder in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:11.85 which was set at the 2014 OAC Championship Meet at the University of Akron.

GENERAL SWIMMING INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2011-2012, Bryan competed in his first season of swimming and earned his first varsity letter.  He recorded career-bests in the 50-yard freestyle (23.53 seconds) and 50-yard breaststroke (29.72 seconds). 

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Bryan competed in his second season of swimming and earned his second letter. He earned Ohio Athletic Conference Male Swimmer of the Week honors on January 28, 2013 for his efforts in a dual meet victory at home against John Carroll University on Jan. 26. He recorded career-bests in the 100-yard individual mdley (1:01.59) and 400-yard IM (4:31.74). 

As a junior in 2013-2014, Bryan competed in his third season of swimming and earned his third letter. He set a school-record in the 200-yard breaststroke of 2:11.85 at the 2014 OAC Championship Meet at the University of Akron and had additional career-bests in the 100-yard free (51.73 seconds), 200-yard free (1:49.21), 500-yard free (5:09.09), 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.24) and 200-yard IM (2:01.49).

As a senior in 2014-2015, Bryan is competing in his fourth season of swimming and hopes to earn his fourth letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL BACKGROUND:   Bryan Gerber grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio and graduated from Macedonia Nordonia High School.

Bryan competed in four years of swimming and earned four varsity letters.

Bryan earned All-Northeast Ohio Conference individual honors in the 200-yard individual medley and 200-yard freestyle, and he swam on Nordonia's All-NOC medley relay team.
