Men’s Soccer Falls Short Against Oberlin
BEREA, Ohio—The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team was defeated by Oberlin College, 2-1, Wednesday night on Tressel Field inside George Finne Stadium.

Oberlin (6-2) stuck first in the second minute of the game when John Ingham found the back of the net, but The Yellow Jackets (3-5-1) evened the score in the 15th minute when sophomore midfielder Jack Shirley (Dublin / Scioto) sent a rocket into the upper right corner.

Oberlin scored the only goal of the second half when they executed a corner kick and Nick Wertman found the back of the at the 55:39 mark.

Senior goalkeeper Zach Haynes (Medina) made five saves for the Yellow Jackets.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, September 26 when they travel to Defiance, Ohio to face off against Defiance University in the second game of a men's and women's soccer doubleheader on Winsper-Knobel Field at 3 p.m.
