BALDWIN ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Pat Brennan was one of the finest men's soccer student-athletes in the history of Baldwin Wallace University. The 2011 CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American ended his career fifth all-time in scoring with 72 points, sixth in goals scored with 27 and fifth in assists with 18. He played four years of soccer and earned four varsity letters. He helped the Yellow Jackets to compile a 48-25-9 record with a .640 winning percentage and the school's first-ever NCAA Division III National Tournament berth in 2011.

On the soccer field, Pat was a two-year team captain.  The three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, including a first-team choice as a senior in 2012 and a second-team selection as a junior and sophomore in 2011 and 2010.  The two-time team captain was named both All-Ohio and NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) All-Great Lakes Region as a junior in 2011 and senior in 2012. He was named as the BW Rookie of the Year (2009). He also earned OAC Player of the Week honors (2009).

In the classroom, Pat excelled and carried a 3.8 grade point average in BW's Masters of Accounting program. He was a Dean's List student, a member of numerous academic honoraries (Alpha Lambda and Chi Sigma Alpha) and named as a Jacket Scholar. In addition to being a CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American in 2011, he earned Academic All-OAC honors from 2010 through 2012, Academic All-Ohio honors in 2011 and 2012, and he was a CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 choice from 2010 through 2012.

Out of the classroom, Pat was a member of the BW Accounting Association. During the summer of 2011 and 2012, he did an internship with the firm of Ernst & Young. Due to his excellent work during his internship, Ernst & Young offered Pat a job following graduation.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Pat played in his first season of soccer and earned his first varsity letter. He played in 17 games and started four. Pat scored four goals and led BW with six assists for a total of 14 points. He was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week on October 26, 2009 for scoring a key goal and assisting a game-winner during the week of October 19. Pat was also voted Rookie of the Year by his teammates. BW finished 13-7-1 overall.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Pat played his second season of soccer. He played in 22 games and started in 20. He contributed eight goals and three assists for 19 points.  Pat was named second-team All-OAC, Academic All-OAC and first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7. BW finished 12-6-4 overall.

As a junior in 2011-2012, Pat played his third season of soccer and earned his third letter. He started all 22 games and served as a team captain. Pat had seven goals and a team-high seven assists for a career-high 21 points. Pat was selected second team All-OAC, third team All-Ohio and third-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region as well as Academic All-OAC, Academic All-Ohio, first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 and first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American. BW set a school-record with 16 wins, including 13 straight victories, was 16-6 overall and advanced to its first-ever NCAA Division III national tournament. 

As a senior in 2012-2013, Pat played his fourth season of soccer and earned his fourth varsity letter. He was a team captain for the second straight season. Despite missing three full and parts of three other games due to an injury, Pat led the team in scoring with eight goals and two assists for 18 total points. He led the team in shots taken (44) and shots on-goal (25) and had one game-winner. For his efforts, Pat was named first-team All-OAC, second-team All-Ohio and third-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region. He also earned Academic All-OAC, Academic All-Ohio and first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 accolades. BW finished 7-6-4 overall.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Pat Brennan grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduate from Walsh Jesuit High School. He played four years of soccer and earned three varsity letters.  He also ran track for two years and earned two letters.

In soccer as a senior, Pat was an All-District selection and the team's Offensive Most Valuable Player.  As a junior, he was the team's Most Valuable Midfielder and Most Promising as a sophomore.  Pat was an Honor Roll student for all eight semesters. He finished his career 22nd all-time on the Walsh scoring list with 19 goals and 13 assists for 51 career points.  Walsh Jesuit also won the 2006 OHSAA Division II State Championship (his sophomore season).
