SPORTS PLAYED AT B-W (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): Carlin played four seasons of soccer and earned four varsity letters. He served as a team captain as a senior.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Carlin earned Academic All-Ohio honors as a junior in 2010.  As a senior at the 2011-12 Honors Day Ceremony, Carlin earned the Kenneth F. Steingass Outstanding Senior Male Athlete Award.

GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION: Carlin Vandendriessche graduated as B-W's all-time best offensive player. He set numerous school records for a season and career, led the Yellow Jackets to 53 victories and a 53-25-6 record, was a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, was an All-Great Lakes Region selection (2011), earned Academic All-Ohio accolades and led B-W to its first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament berth as a senior.  He also was a three-time OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week and a two-time B-W Most Valuable Offensive Player. Carlin also set B-W single-season school records for matches played with 22 (in 2010 and 2011), shots taken with 76 (in 2010), shots on-goal with 42 (in 2011), goals scored with 16 (in 2011) and points scored with 37 (in 2011). He set Yellow Jacket career marks for matches played (84), shots taken (250), shots on goal (134), goals scored (46) and points scored (102).

As a freshman in 2008-2009, Carlin played in his first season of soccer and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 19 games, took 35 shots, scored a team-high nine goals and had one assist for a team-high 19 points as B-W finished 12-6-1 overall. Carlin helped B-W to tournament titles at Penn-State Behrend and at the OAC/MIAA Invitational. For his efforts, he was named second-team All-OAC.

As a sophomore in 2009-2010, Carlin played in his second season of soccer and earned his second letter. He started all 21 games at forward, took a team-leading 64 shots, tied a school-record with 13 goals (which he later broke as a senior), had four assists and led the team with 30 points. He was selected as the OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week (Sept. 21). He helped the Yellow Jackets to a 13-7-1 season.  For his efforts, Carlin was named as a first-team All-OAC. He was the B-W Offensive Player of the Year.

As a junior in 2010-2011, Carlin played in his third season of soccer and earned his third letter. He played and started in all 22 matches, took a school single-season record 76 shots and scored eight goals and 16 points for the 12-6-4 overall Yellow Jackets. He was a second-team All-OAC selection.

As a senior in 2011-12, Carlin played his fourth season of soccer, earned his fourth varsity letter and served as a team captain. Carlin played in a school-record 22 matches, took 75 shots, including a school-record 42 shots on-goal, scored a team-leading and school single-season record 16 goals and a single-season school-record 37 points. For his efforts, he was a first-team All-OAC choice for the second time in his career and earned second-team All-Great Lakes Region accolades. He was also named OSCA's All-Ohio First Team. He helped the Yellow Jackets to a school-record 16 victories, a 16-6 record and to advance to its first-ever NCAA Division III National Tournament. He also was twice named as the OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week (on Sept. 12 and Sept. 26). He was named as B-W's Offensive Player of the Year.
