Men’s Lacrosse Cruises Past the Berry (Ga.) Vikings

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team started its spring break trip with a non-conference neutral match against Berry (Ga.) University hosted by Transylvania University. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Vikings by a 13-4 final score. 

BW (3-2) was led by senior All-American midfielder Jonas Aquilla (Westlake/St. Edward) as he tallied a game-high six points with four goals and two assists. He also notched two caused turnovers and three ground balls. Senior All-OAC goalkeeper Joe Storner (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) also posted 19 saves, allowing just four goals in the 23 shots he faced. 

Berry (4-2) was led by senior midfielder Tyler Banfield as notched two goals and a ground ball.

1st Quarter

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Sunday, March 12 as the team continues its trip with a non-conference matchup against Transylvania University. The game is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. inside of the Pat Deacon Stadium.
