Storner Garners Third Career Ohio Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference goalkeeper Joe Storner (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) has been named the OAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in his career.

Storner led the way for BW in this cage this week with the overtime win over Grove City (Pa.) College. In the net, he saved 15 shots on the 25 total shots he faced for a .600 save percentage. Storner also collected two ground balls and earned his first assist of his career.

Storner is third in the OAC with 30 saves after the first two weeks of the season and he owns a .612 save percentage on the season.

BW returns to the field on Saturday, March 5 when the team travles to Buena Vista, Va. for a non-conference game against Southern Virginia University at 1:00 p.m. inside Knight Stadium.
