Schorling, Men’s Lacrosse Swarm the Student Princes in a Lopsided Victory

BEREA, Ohio— Freshman attacker Jake Schorling (Westerville/Central) led the Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team as it hosted an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against Heidelberg University and quickly put their foot on the gas pedal, winning by an outstanding score of 27-2 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.

BW Leaders (6-3, 2-0 OAC)

  • Schorling scored a team high six goals in the contest.
  • Junior midfielder Jonas Aquilla (Westlake/St.Edward) added four goals in the matchup.
  • Junior All-OAC attacker Kyler Byerly (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) added four assists.
  • Junior goalkeeper Zach Noll (Miamisburg) led with five saves in 15 minutes of action.

Heidelberg Leaders (1-8, 1-1 OAC)

  • Senior attacker Alex Bruder and junior midfielder Jacob Brickman each scored one goal
  • Sophomore midfielder Nolan Hatten and freshman midfielder Jacob Morgan each added an assist.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Cian Howery notched 24 saves.
