BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Vinny completed his second season of lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace University and earned his second varsity letter.
ATHLETIC HONORS: As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Vinny was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week on April 7, 2014. Vinny was also tabbed All-OAC Honorable Mention.
GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Vinny completed his first season and lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter. He was one of only four players to start all 11 games for the 6-5 Yellow Jackets during their inaugural season, and led the team with 21 assists and 39 points, and was third with 18 goals, including three man-up goals. Vinny also led the attack and was third on the team overall with 42 ground balls and caused four turnovers. He scored multiple goals in seven games, including two hat tricks, registered multiple assists six times, and recorded at least one goal and one assist in six games. Vinny tallied career highs of three goals, seven assists and 10 points in a 21-12 win against Houghton (N.Y.) College on March 8 at Pinnacle Soccer Complex in Medina, Ohio. His seven assists are a school single-game record. Vinny collected a career-high eight ground balls in a 12-7 loss against Thiel (Pa.) College on April 24.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Vinny competed in his second season of lacrosse earned his second letter. He started in all 14 games for the 7-7 Yellow Jackets. He collected 41 ground balls, and lead the team with 28 goals and 18 assists. Vinny had a career-high five goals and added six assists for a school-record 11 points in a 19-2 win versus Calvin (Mich.) College on April 5, 2014. He was subsequently named as the OAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week. He also received All-OAC Honorable Mention for the second straight year.
As a junior in 2014-2015, Vinny will play in his thrd season of lacrosse and hpes to earn his third varsity letter.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Vinny Carson grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Benedictine High School. He played four seasons each of hockey and lacrosse.
As a junior in 2010-11, Vinny garnered All-North Coast League honorable mention in hockey. As a senior in 2011-12, he was named first-team All-NCL and All-Ohio honorable mention.
