Bratsch Medalist - Men's Golf Takes Runner Up at Rumble at Tuscarawas River

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team placed second at Rumble at Tuscarawas River hosted by John Carroll University at River Greens Golf Course.

BW finished second of three teams with a total of 311 strokes on the par-72 and 6,507-yard River Greens Golf Course layout. Host, John Carroll won the classic with a total of 306 strokes

The top five leading the Yellow Jackets:

  • Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) place first while carding a round of 73.
  • Freshman Christian Miller (North Lawrence / Tuslaw) tied for fifth and tallied a round of 77. 
  • Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights / Padua Franciscan) tied ninth with a round of 79.
  • Senior Connor Thomas (Medina / Buckeye) tied 17th while carding a round of 82.
  • Senior Will Scurci (Mars, Pa. / Mars Area) placed 23rd with a round of 89. 

Playing as individuals:

  • Sophomore Alex Baker (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Hills) placed fifth while carded a round of 77 
  • Sophomore All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut / Edgewood) tied 14th while posting a round of 80.
  • Freshmen Trevor Mackey (Brunswick) tied 14th and tallied a round of 80.
  • Freshmen Logan Cook (Berea / Berea-Midpark) tied 19th with a round of 83
  • Senior Mike Douzos (Amherst / Firelands) placed 24th and posted a round of 98

BW is back in action on tomorrow Monday, April 25th when it travels to Shaker Heights to play at John Carroll University Legends Invitational at the Shaker Heights Country Club.
