Clark Gains Fourth Career OAC Men’s Golfer of the Week Accolade

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – For the fourth time in his career, Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference men's golfer Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) has been selected as the OAC Golfer of the Week. 

Clark earns the weekly honor after being a back to back medalist at the Mount Union Fall Invitational at Tannehauf Golf Club and John DiCillo Invitational at Shaker Country Club. He finished first of 75 golfers in the Mount Union Fall Invitational while posting rounds of 71 and a 73 for an invitational total of 144. Clark also was a medalist at the John DiCillo Invitational and tallied a round of 71. 

This season, Clark leads the team with a 71.84 scoring average. He has played in six tournaments and four rounds with a season-low round of 71 on Monday's round at John DiCillo Invitational.

For his career, Clark holds two of the top five school records for season scoring average. On two occasions, he shot a career-low round of 70, the most recent being on September 21, 2019, at the University of Mount Union Fall Invitational.

BW is back in action on Saturday, October 2nd when it hosts the BW Fall Invitational at the Pine Hills Golf Club in Hinckley. The Yellow Jackets close out the fall portion of their schedule on Saturday and Sunday, October 9-10 when it travels to West Lafayette to compete in the OAC Fall Preview at the River Greens Golf Course.
