Men's Golf Placed Ninth at the Cavalier Classic

CANTON, Ohio. - The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team placed ninth at the Cavalier Classic hosted by Walsh University at the Glenmoor Country Club.

BW finished ninth of 12 teams with a total of 963 strokes on the par-72 and 7,041-yard Glenmoor Country Club layout. Host, Walsh won the classic with total of 867 strokes.

The top five leading the Yellow Jackets:

  • Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights / Padua Franciscan) posted rounds of 74,74,77 for a total of 225.
  • Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) fired rounds of 77, 84,74 for a total of 235.
  • Senior Connor Thomas (Medina / Buckeye) tallied rounds of 87, 93, 77 for a total of 257.
  • Sophomore All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut / Edgewood) posted rounds of 92,89,85 for a total of 266
  • Freshmen Christian Miller (North Lawrence / Tuslaw) carded rounds of 82,83,89 each for a total of 254.

BW is back in action on Saturday, April 9th when it travels to Wooster to play at the Nye Intercollegiate hosted by The College of Wooster at Wooster Country Club.
