Ladaika Shoots Two-Under to Earn Medalist Honors, Men’s Golf Wins River Greens Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Sophomore Ben Ladaika (Erie, Pa./Erie Cathedral Prep) fired a career-low two-under par round to earn his first Medalist honor as the Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team won the River Greens Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW won the invitational by four strokes over John Carroll by a score of 298-302 on the par-72 and 6,800-yard River Greens layout.

In addition to Ladaika for the Yellow Jackets, junior Hunter Miller (Frankfort/Adena) and sophomore Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) tied for fourth place as each shot rounds of 75. Freshman Drake Tobias (Macedonia/Nordonia) placed 10th as he carded a round of 78.  Rounding out the top five was freshman Jared Budner (Macedonia/Nordonia) with a round of 83.

Playing as individuals were senior Brad Fatsie (North Olmsted) and Tommy Glenn (Avon), juniors Brad Blaine (Brooklyn), Jack Kyle (Bay Village/Bay) and Adam Morris (Grafton/Midview) and freshman Blake Glista (Beloit/West Branch).

Blaine led the individuals with a round of 81.  Glista and Kyle shot rounds of 84.  Morris posted a round of 88.  Glenn tallied a round of 90 and Fatsie finished with a 92.

BW is back in action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 27-29 when it travels back to West Lafayette to compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Muskingum University at the River Greens Golf Course.
