Clark Garners First Career OAC Men’s Golf Weekly Accolade

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University sophomore men's golfer Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career. 

Clark earns his first career honor as he was the medalist at last Saturday's John DiCillo Spring Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the Black Brook Golf Course in Mentor. 

Clark won the invitational on the first playoff hole against John Schnur of John Carroll.  He was first of 30 golfers as he fired a career-low tying round of 73 on the par 71 and 6,459-yard Black Brook layout.

This season, Clark has played in six tournaments and 9.5 rounds.   He leads the team with a career-low average of 75.16.  

For his career, Clark has played in 16 tournaments, 28.5 rounds and has a career-average of 77.2.

BW is back in action on Friday and Saturday, March 30 and 31 when it travels to Sunbury to compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Championships hosted by Otterbein University at the NorthStar Golf Club.
