Miller Earns First Career OAC Men’s Golf Weekly Accolade

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University junior men's golfer Hunter Miller (Frankfort/Adena) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career. 

Miller earned his first career honor as was the medalist in BW's spring break trip victory over Thomas More (Ky.) College by a six stroke margin at the Grenelefe Golf and Tennis Resort.

He was first of 17 players as he fired a round of 82 on the par 71 and 6,869-Greenlefe layout.  Miller one the dual match by just one stroke over Yellow Jacket teammate and freshman Blake Glista (Beloit/West Branch).

This season, he has played in all six tournaments and 9.5 rounds.  Miller is second on the team with a 78.1 average.

For his career, Miller has played in 24 tournaments, 41 rounds and has a career-average of 80.5. 

BW is back in action on Sunday, March 25 when it travels to Shaker Heights to compete in the John DiCillo Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the Shaker Heights Country Club.
