MENTOR, Ohio – Sophomore Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) fired a career-low tying 73 and claimed his second career medalist honor on the first playoff hole to lead the Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team to a second-place finish at the John DiCillo Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the Black Brook Golf Course and Practice Center.

BW was second of two teams with 308 strokes on the par-71 and 6,459-yard Black Brook layout.  John Carroll won the invitational with 302 strokes.

In addition to Clark for the Yellow Jackets, sophomore Ben Ladaika (Erie, Pa./Erie Cathedral Prep) fired a career-low round of 75. Junior Hunter Miller (Frankfort/Adena) carded a round of 78. Freshman Drake Tobias (Macedonia/Nordonia) shot a round of 82.  Rounding out the top five was junior Jack Kyle (Bay Village/Bay) with a round of 83. 

Playing as individuals were seniors Brandon Fatsie (North Olmsted) and Tommy Glenn (Avon), juniors Brad Blaine (Brooklyn) and Adam Morris (Grafton/Midview) and freshmen Jared Budner (Macedonia/Nordonia) and Blake Glista (Beloit/West Branch).  

Morris led the individuals with a career-low round of 76.  Blaine fired a round of 82, Glista carded a round of 83, Budner posted a round of 88, Glenn tallied a round of 95 and Fatsie had a round of 96.

BW is back in action on Friday and Saturday, March 30 and 31 when it travels to Sunbury to compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Championships hosted by Otterbein University at the NorthStar Golf Club.
