BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team won the first ever-meeting against the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg by a final score of 121-59 in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center.

BW (6-2), who was 12 points shy of the school-record for points in a game, had six players in double-figures led by freshman Alex Nahra (Mayfield) as he scored a game and career-high 15 points and grabbed a game-high and career-high nine rebounds.  Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard Cam Kuhn (Vermilion) tallied 14 points.  Junior All-OAC forward Jake Fetherolf (Norwalk), junior forward Mike Kaminski (Medina) and sophomore guards Jay Battle (Gahanna/Lincoln) and Kyle Nader (Vermilion) all contributed 11 points.  The 11 points marked a career-high for Nader.

With his 14 points, Kuhn has scored 1,106 career points and moved to 27th on the all-time BW scoring list.  He needs five points to pass Jerry Seuss (1952-55) for 25th place with 1,111.

Pitt-Greensburg (0-8) was led by Kyle Bondi as he scored nine points.

After the Bobcats scored the first basket of the game, the Yellow Jackets went on an 11-3 run to take an 11-5 lead on a three-pointer by freshman guard Michael Quiring (Brunswick) at the 17:24 mark.  Pitt-Greensburg responded with a 6-3 run to cut the lead down to 14-11 on a layup by Matt Zanella at 15:45.  BW extended its lead to a first-half high of 33 points when Kuhn knocked down three-pointer with 1:24 left in the half.  The Yellow Jackets led 60-28 at the intermission.

The Bobcats never overcame the 32-point halftime deficit and BW pushed its lead to a game-high 64 points in the second half at 121-57 on a pair of free throws by freshman forward Jack Lostoski (Uniontown/Lake) with 1:00 minute remaining.
