Leverette Garners First Career OAC Football Weekly Honor

UNIONTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University sophomore wide receiver and return specialist Jordan Leverette (Cleveland/John Adams) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the first time in his career. 

Leverette, who is a sprinter on the track team, earned his first accolade for returning three kickoffs for 80 yards with a long of 28 in a 28-14 comeback road victory against Wilmington College last Saturday.

This season, he is returning kickoffs for the first time as a Yellow Jacket and has seven returns for 208 yards with an 86-yard touchdown. In addition, Leverette has caught four passes for 37 yards with a long of 24 yards.  He has carried the ball on two occasions for 19 yards. 

For his career, Leverette has appeared in 10 games and has rushed the ball four times for 22 yards and has made 15 catches for 173 yards with one touchdown.
