All Five Baldwin-Wallace College Football Home Games to be Televised by SportsTime Ohio

BEREA, OHIO --  This fall, all five Baldwin-Wallace College home football games will be shown on SportsTime Ohio. It makes B-W the only Division III school in the country to have all of its home games available to the 3.4 million viewers that SportsTime Ohio, Dish TV and Direct TV serve. Veteran sportscaster Adam Mendoza will do the play-by-play with a student from BW's communication department offering the color analysis.

B-W, in conjunction with S & S Video Productions, will tape and produce the games that will be given to SportsTime Ohio to air.  In addition to the five broadcasts that will take place the evening of each home game (see the broadcast schedule below), STO has agreed to 14 replay dates. That gives the B-W football program 19 opportunities to be shown to the STO family of viewers.

"This is an outstanding opportunity for both our football student-athletes to gain exposure on television, for the College to gain exposure and for our communication and sport management students to gain valuable practical experience," said Yellow Jacket Head Football Coach John Snell.

In addition to Yellow Jacket football student-athletes and their families able to view the "fruits of their labor of love" on the gridiron, a group of students from B-W's communication and sport management areas gain valuable experience working hand-in-hand with professionals from S & S Video Productions.

"I have had a great experience working with the professionals at S & S Video and had opportunities that most students never get," said senior broadcast and communications major Andrew Middleman of Reisterstown, Maryland. "Having the opportunity the announce B-W football and basketball games is a great experience, and I have had the chance to also meet and interview Jim Tressel (Head Football Coach at the Ohio State University) and four-time Olympic gold medalist Harrison Dillard. They are experiences that I will remember the rest of my life and the broadcast opportunity will help me prepare for my professional life."

In addition to the broadcast schedule listed below for this season's games, Yellow Jacket fans can log onto the College Internet Web site and view the games again.
