Baseball Climbs to No. 15 in D3baseball/NCWBA Polls

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team has climbed to No. 15 in the D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Week 4 poll. 

BW (13-3) moves up three spots from No. 18 after going 3-1 over the weekend, including a non-conference sweep of Wittenberg University and a split with Thiel (Pa.) College. One other Ohio Athletic Conference school makes an appearance in this week's poll as Marietta College comes in at No. 21.

In the poll, the University of Massachusettes Boston again takes the top ranking while Trinity (Texas) University jumps from No. 5 to No. 2. The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater fell one spot to No. 3, Methodist (N.C.) University rises from No. 8 to No. 4 and Rowan (N.J.) University climbs from No. 11 to No. 5. 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, March 24, when they open up OAC play against 21st-ranked Marietta College inside Don Schaly Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. while the second game is scheduled to start at approximately 4 p.m.
