BW Baseball to Host Golf Outing and Game on Homecoming Weekend

BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team is kicking off the Homecoming Weekend activities with an alumni and friends golf outing on Friday, October 3 at Pine Hills Golf Club in Hinckley, Ohio.

Registration begins that Friday at 10:00 a.m. with a shotgun start an hour later.  The $85 registration fee includes a round of golf as well as a steak and chicken dinner.  Hole sponsorships are available for $150 and all proceeds from the event benefit the Yellow Jacket baseball team. Please RSVP by September 26. 

On Saturday, the team will host a trio of events prior to the BW and Muskingum football game at 2 p.m. At 10:15 a.m., the Alumni Home Run Derby will take place on Heritage Field.  Following the homerun derby, the 2014 Yellow Jackets will take on the Alumni in a game slated to begin at 11 a.m.  The final days event will be a  current player/parent and alumni lunch on the field starting at 1:30 p.m.

Alumni, current players/parents and friends are encouraged to cheer on the Yellow Jacket football team to victrory against the Fifgting Muskies in the George Finnie Stadium
