In game one, the Yellow Jackets scored four runs on eight hits as they plated a run in the first, third sixth and seventh. The Yeomen scored seven runs on 12 hits as it pushed two runs across in the first and second and three in the third.

The BW offense was led by junior first baseman Kyle Chontos (Pickerington/North) went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and RBI.  Junior rightfielder Alex Green (Pickerington/North) was 1-for-2 with a run scored and RBI single while senior catcher Joe Hiller (Twinsburg) and sophomore designated hitter Hunter Handel (Akron/Green) each went 1-for-3 with an RBI single.
