Equity in Athletics Data Analysis
The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act requires co-educational institutions of postsecondary education that participate in a Title IV, federal student financial assistance program, and have an intercollegiate athletic program, to prepare an annual report to the Department of Education on athletic participation, staffing, and revenues and expenses, by men's and women's teams.  The Department will use this information in preparing its required report to the Congress on gender equity in intercollegiate athletics. The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act is designed to make current and prospective students aware of the school’s commitment to providing equitable athletic opportunities for its men and women students. The Department of Education has provided a website http://ope.ed.gov/athletics/ that provides data from thousands of college and universities in a convenient searchable form.  To download the Baldwin Wallace 2023 EADA Report, click here.

Hazing Policy
All forms of hazing, on or off campus, by any individual student, or Baldwin Wallace University registered student club or organization, faculty or staff, or any of its members or alumni are prohibited. Students are entitled to be treated with consideration and respect, and no individual may perform an act that is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or social ostracism to any other person within the Baldwin Wallace University community. The University will investigate and respond to all reports of hazing as outlined in this policy.

LGBTQ+ Services
LGBTQ+ Services is committed to the full inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual/pansexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally students, staff, and faculty — a commitment that BW demonstrated when it became the first university in the United States to break with the United Methodist Church after the church voted to enforce policies that exclude LGBTQ+ clergy and parishioners. We are invested in creating a vibrant and inclusive community that recognizes and celebrates LGBTQ+ contributions to BW!
