Lanzer ‘18 and Longo Join Athletic Training Staff

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Head Athletic Trainer and Health Care Administrator Tricia Hamad '99 has announced the additions of Lauryn Lanzer '18 and Brenna Longo as assistant athletics trainers.

Lanzer returns to her alma mater after serving as the head athletic trainer at Dublin Davis Middle School for OhioHealth Sports Medicine this past spring.  Prior to Dublin Davis, she served as co-athletic trainer at New Albany High School and an athletic trainer at Westerville Sports Medicine Clinic for Nationwide Children's Hospital Department of Sports Medicine for two years. 

Lanzer earned a Bachelor of Arts in athletic training from BW in 2018 and a Master of Science in athletic training from the University of Kentucky in 2020. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Athletic Training from A.T. Still (Mo.) University. 

Longo comes to Berea after serving as the head athletic trainer at Garfield Heights High School for Cleveland Clinic Sports Medicine for the last six years.  Prior to Garfield Heights, she served as an assistant athletic trainer at Tyler (Texas) Junior College and as an athletic trainer at Lisbon High School.

Longo earned a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from the University of Mount Union in 2014 and a Master of Science in sports psychology from California Southern University in 2017.
