Cross Country Tabbed Third, Seventh in OAC Coaches Poll

Westerville, Ohio - In the Ohio Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll for 2021, the women's cross-country team has been voted to place third, while the men's team has been picked to finish seventh.

The BW ladies, who went uncontested in the previous year of 2020 but placed second in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships, were selected third out of ten teams, earning 62 points. John Carroll took first place, followed by Ohio Northern. Otterbein University placed just behind BW with 59 points in this year's poll.

BW finished eighth in the men's division with 33 points. John Carroll comes out on top with 81 points, while Otterbein sits second with 73 points. Marietta came in third with 61 points, followed by Ohio Northern in fourth with 64 points, while Wilmington is in fifth with 49 points.

The Yellow Jackets open the 2021 season on Wednesday, September 1st when they travel to Wooster to compete at the annual Wooster Invitational on the L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course at 6:00 pm.
